Nestled within beautiful wooded grounds on the outskirts of Armoy and Stranocum, The Hedges Hotel offers a peaceful countryside retreat in the heart of the North Coast. Following a three-year closure, we are delighted to announce that the hotel has reopened, and we look forward to extending a warm and welcoming experience to all our guests.
The Hedges Hotel is proudly family-run and is well known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, attentive service, and exceptional food. Our menus are thoughtfully prepared using the finest locally sourced produce, celebrating the rich flavours of the surrounding area.
Guests can enjoy a variety of dining experiences to suit every occasion. For a more informal and comfortable setting, Lannisters Lounge is ideal for a casual meal or relaxed drink. Alternatively, you may wish to take a leisurely stroll upstairs to The Hedges Restaurant, where a more refined dining experience awaits, showcasing some of the very best cuisine the North Coast has to offer.
Every Sunday, we also host our popular Carvery in Lannisters Lounge from 12.00pm to 5.00pm. Due to its popularity, advance booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
In addition, The Hedges Hotel caters for private functions of all kinds, accommodating gatherings from intimate celebrations of 10 guests up to larger events of 200. Whether you are planning a family celebration, corporate event, or special occasion, our experienced team will be happy to assist in creating a memorable experience.

Our hotel enjoys a prime central location in Northern Ireland, perfectly positioned beside the breathtaking Glens of Antrim and just moments from the renowned Causeway Coast.
Many of Northern Ireland’s most iconic attractions are only a short drive away, including the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Ballintoy Harbour. We are also proudly located directly opposite the world-famous Dark Hedges, making us an ideal base for exploring this truly unique area.
